Community Partnership for Child Development has an inclusive and respectful workplace culture in which all staff members strive for top performance, work as a team and are highly motivated and qualified. The CPCD Staff Development Program promotes a continual learning environment in the workplace. Staff members are encouraged to increase job-related skills and knowledge to provide high quality services for children and families with positive child outcomes.
Staff Trainings - CPCD provides all-staff trainings 5 times per year with department trainings on the off months. These sessions meet performance standards, address identified agency needs and promote a continual learning and team environment.
Tuition Reimbursement - CPCD helps staff members working on degrees that are relevant to their current or future job with the agency. This is an application process with preference to degrees in Early Childhood Education.
Required Trainings - CPCD schedules monthly sessions in the following: New Employee Orientation; OSHA with Fire and Back Safety; Child Abuse Reporting Policies; Food Handling; Bus Safety; and CPR/First Aid.
Credentials and Licensing - On-site courses for the Child Development Associate (CDA) and the Commercial Driver's License (CDL) run each program year for teaching and driving staff.
CPCD provides further support to staff members with assistance in attending community trainings, receiving further job-related certifications and applying for higher education and financial aid.
